catching up series: patio isabel yet again

Patio Isabel yet again! On this blog, it's the fifth -- first, second, third, and fourth! But in reality, it's much much more visits than that! It's 2020 already and remember we're only blogging about 2016?! Haha! The thing is, it's the most accessible resort from our home. So whenever we feel like swimming, where else would we head to?

So as usual, we started the day with Mithril's pictorial. It's actually what we do up until now that we have Aya already. WAITTT! Who's Aya you might ask? She's the latest addition to the fam who's three years old already. Oo, haha! Pero sa blog na 'to, hindi pa sya pinapanganak! HAHAHA! Summer 2016 pa lang kasi sa blog na to, dbaa? :P

But I'll tell you one more reason why I'm really pushing to have everything documented.. Aside from the fact that's it's my sanity project, I am also doing this for the kids. Ako kasi, I loved looking at our photo albums as I was growing up. We're lucky enough that mom loved taking photos and arranging them into albums. But nowadays that printed photos and albums aren't a thing anymore, we only have Facebook to depend too. And I'm not quite satisfied with that so as much as I can, I'm trying my best to organize everything in our PC and different forms of backup storage. OC LIKE THAT!

And even as early as now, it entertains me when Mithril and Aya would look at their baby photos. Mithril is five and Aya is three, by the way. So there! I'm really determined to make this blog catch up with our lives. Todo explain talaga ako cause I know my catching up series would weird out some. (Assuming na may blog readers pa these days!)

(Hehe! Sorry for the randomness of this post.) So going back to the Patio Isabel visit.. It was just another impromptu one. We got bored one weekend so off we go! No baon, whatsoever. If my memory serves me right, parang we just bought roasted chicken at the nearby Chooks-to-Go and we're solved! Also, it was just Mithril's second time to swim so we were still excited. Obvious naman no how excited we were with our baby! Case in point -- see photos and videos below! :)

And because it was summer, Mithril's dada (my brother!) thought of getting her an indoor pool. We planned a pool party with her cousins, ate Faye and ate Avie. It was timely that her cousins' cousin, ate Charisse, was there too for a visit. We just ordered pizza and it was another fun and busog day at the Borbon's residence. Of course, more indoor swimming followed. Sometimes Mithril only, sometimes with the cousins, and sometimes with the momma and aunties too! Haha! Enjoy the photos below! :))

more kids, more fun ♥

Just a photo diary from my niece's birthday celebration. Ash celebrated her special day at Patio Isabel with our family and her closest friends. I had so much fun because as I've said, I love having kids around. ♥

But before anything else.. here's my OOTD! If you haven't noticed yet, I am abusing my bagay to anything strappies. I just love how they match almost any outfit perfectly. I'll be in Ilocos next week and I am seriously fighting the urge to bring them with me.

Moving on, here are photos of the kids at heart. Look at them goofing around with the fish they're supposed to be grilling. Take note, it's their idea, not mine!

And oh, did you notice baby Carin's different way of finger sucking? It's her rock on finger sucking! Haha!

Meanwhile, here's Faye in her favorite outfit lately - swimsuits. At home, she wears one anytime of the day. She'll even cry for it when her mom won't allow her to. Just too adorbs. ♥

And then here are Dana and Potch, my sister and nephew respectively. I can clearly remember how they used to be little kiddos actively joining activities like cake designing at Goldilocks.. or participating McDo's kiddie crew workshop.. or joining SM's trick or treat every November. How time flies, really. Now we have a new set of little kids - which reminds me I'm getting old. Ugghh.

Some more kids and kid at heart - my brother, another nephew Alex and his playmate. I know what you're thinking.. they can pass as siblings. Hahaha! I thought of that instantly when I saw them at the pool gutter so I insisted to take photos of them together. Ang sarap pagkukurutin ng pisngi! :P

Now here are Alex and Cait, bff slash cousins. It's so cute how they're always together despite the age difference. And mind you, both of them are so nice. Cait is such a sweet girl while Alex is such a gentle giant.

Lastly, here's the birthday girl with her friends. I enjoyed taking stolen photos of them, reminds me of the good old days when I was young and free. Hahaha! Although it's annoying how tall they are at such a young age. I am guessing one of them is almost 5'5''.. or just 5'3"? Shuuss, enough of my bitterness.

Thanks again to Ate Shell and Ash for spending that special day with us. ♥

just bored, apparently

Hiyyaa!! I have risen from the dead! I wanted to kick off my recovery through a blog post yesterday but apparently I didn't have words. I realized though that I was more capable physically so I just cleaned the mess brought about by my illness - fresh sheeeettss gaaahh!! ♥

Anyway, here are photos from a random swimming sesh with the mommy, the baby and the minion. As in sobrang naisipan lang and then off we go. Walang ligo-ligo, walang baon! We're spontaneous like that!

kissy kissy with the baby :*

Just for the heck of it, we took few snaps by the poolside then began preparing for a swim. We wanted it that bad, you have no idea! By the way this was back in March so the burning desire is understandable. Ask them for a swim now and they'll kill your idea with how tan they are already. Haha!

baby and mommy

the minion! hihi! ✌

no-fuss outfit. yes?

We missed using our swimming skillz so much that we didn't mind the scorching heat of the sun and the possible body sore after. My sister and I also kept practicing how to tread. Since I learned how to swim, treading has become a new frustration. Oh well. One never runs out of dreams.

my girlaloo swimmers

swimming lessons... not!!

ain't the baby so koyoot?

And since we didn't have baon and it's a budget swimming, we simply had goto and isaw outside for merienda. Simple joys!! I swear the goto is so good.

simple joys

After merienda, we went back to the resort for more swim. And guess what? We were the last people to leave the place! We wanted it badly, I told you! Convinced? :)

and that's dory singing just keep swimming. hahaha!☮

Another Patio Isabel random swimming care of daddy {our cousin, kuya ga} and mommy {her wifey}. This was right after my trip to Hundred Islands with my teammates. I was really tired and sleepy so I took a nap first then followed them to the venue.

their preparations

making faces yet again x)

swimming time

our cute not-so-little baby

And just when I thought it's just another ordinary swimming for us, we went a little crazier with trying jump shots to the pool. It's always fun and sillier with the family. I know you agree. ♥

you judge who gets the best jump shot award x)

and then when it's time to go home..
we were red-eyed monsters already

Next Attraction: My mom's birthday celeb at Eco Park
Coming Soon: Another failed biking attempt at QC Circle with the best friend

XoXo :')

spur-of-the-moment kind of thing

One last for summer. Yes, I promise. Something really spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment, or however you want to call it. :D

I was on vacation leave right after our Galera trip. I actually filed that two-day leave even before we had that trip planned. I am lucky like that. Sakto pahinga.. pero akala ko lang pala.

We were just having a lazy, almost-boring Monday afternoon when suddenly we thought of going swimming to the nearest resort, Patio Isabel. But since it's already late, we decided to go the next day. No preparations were made. Bahala na si Batman.

The next day, we're off to Patio Isabel. We didn't bring anything with us. Oh well, aside from our personal things, of course. I just ordered pizza for everyone in the morning and Kuya Ga bought Andok's for us in the afternoon. Solve na.

brothers.sisters.lurrrve.

bigatin ;)

Nothing really huge but we had fun definitely. Especially with bida {referring to my niece *wink*} around. No dull moments. And suddenly, I miss her. I wanna hug and pinch and kiss her. Good thing I'll be home tomorrow. Oops, what was this entry all about again? Teeheee.

bida and her talents

I'd say this "small-time" swimming was way more tiring than Galera. 'Cos in the beach you don't really get to swim as much. You'll be busy preserving your decent look for photo-ops {please don't kill me if this doesn't apply to everyone}. But in swimming pools, you won't even bother doing the same. You'll just swim and swim until your lungs hurt. Haha!

until our last strength

And when finally our lungs, along with our arms and legs, couldn't bear it any longer, we decided to head home. We had few more clicks as we wait for our ride home. Girls will always be girls, ang aarte nila. :P

ang aarte. kainis.

So there, that was my short but sweet story. Up next are my bucket list updates. I am so excited to share with you my Balaw Balaw experience. But geez, not tonight. Zzzz.
